AS/A Levels

Pretty sure I did badly on my C1 resit. It was a really hard paper though, the past papers were so much easier. Worried about my C2 and FP1 on friday now.

I'm so angry right now. Coursework always seems to bite me in the arse.

Found out today that I have 49/60 in my chemistry coursework. That's a B grade

Absolutely fuming, now I need to smash both exams to get an A, which I probably won't do cos I'm struggling :( :( :(

Don't worry, people in my class got a B or C in their chem practicals but still got an A.

Calm down dear. I got a 32/60 in my practical. :p

Electronics was easy but made such an Elementary mistake, did not add 0.7 V onto the transistor input voltage! Also there was some mosfet stuff, that is not in the syllabus about internal resistance. I did Vout/ Id, hope it was right.

Warning about S1 tomorrow, it's going to be hard as M1 and C1 were hard as well as January 2011 Being easy. Something very likely to come up is statistical models, also if it's a probability question that does not say draw a tree diagram draw a Venn Diagram. As well as carefully checking for alternative ways of saying " given that" one example is January 2009 q2, be very careful when it comes to the exam as it's difficult to spot!

What course is this? I'm doing OCR salters where coursework practicals are 25% of the total grade

I'm doing OCR A.

I think its 20% for us.

49/60 looks like a high B, so you should be fine as long as you get a mid A in the exams.

Actually low A would suffice but considering the fact that A2 chemistry is much harder, try to gain as many marks in the exam.

Don't worry. Retake the module next year when your knowledge of Chemistry will be a lot better! And If it's Salters B you're doing, have fun with the Individual Investigation ;)

This confuses me ? Im doing my highers up here in scotland, doing higher... english, maths, physics, product design and geography. 3 down 2 to go and ive only put in an hour of studying before each one =P.
