Leopard hunt II 64gb ssd
Got one a few days ago , currently using it as the main drive on my laptop running snow leopard (mac os). Restoring the disk image to it when I switched drives was ******* fast I'm happy its' working just like a very fast normal sata drive..
As with ALL SSD drives on the market no one really knows how long they will last yet, I plan to open it up and find out what controller these things use unfortunately it's secured with what looks like security Torq screws which I'll need to order to crack it safely.
Indilinx controller with 64mb cache and samsang chips is what they use according to some info on the web, not %100 sure but I suspect they are basically oem units people like OCZ and others put a sticker on and add $100 to the price.
