Asgard's Wrath

People are different, I am really enjoying it.

There is only one thing annoying me is the enemy respawns. It wasn't too bad until I revitalised the first area and then it went to hell. I go to the top of the cliff the guys spawn there, fight and kill them, have to go back down, enemies spawn, fight and kill them, then go back up. The enemies spawn again. I don't mind them respawning if you leave an area and come back or when you restart the game. But, respawning just moving around the same area, really sucks.

I got the same problem and that was pretty much where I decided it wasn't for me. "This area has been revitalised", go back and monsters everywhere.

I understood there would be monsters, I took it that there would be upgraded monsters, that's what I thought revitalised did. What annoys me is how quick they respawn.

I also love the combat. They have to improve it a little because sometimes Parrys don't register. But, there is a patch coming out soon which should tighten up some of these problems. God fights are amazing.

Well, I hope it isn't Skyrim, I already have that!! :p

doesnt AW have full motion controller support however, which is something that skyrim does not have does it (note i have not played skyrimVR but I DO have fallout4 VR which i thought had similar mechanics..... which is kind of limited motion controllers support - ie i cant open drawers and what not by gripping etc... I thought AW was a much better VR experience than Skyrim, albeit the game may have a slighly lesser scope.

For me, Asgard's Wrath is nothing like Skyrim.

Anyone made it past Thors Tower?

I can't get past the bit with the waves attacking the gates. Tried and failed at least 10 times on easiest skill level.

Yes, completed the story, now doing all the sidequests.

Came rather close to losing on it though. Targeting the big dudes to make them move to a channel with other things I want to shoot helped save time etc. Also targeted siege weapons as a priority, don't know if that was right.

Skyrim VR now has almost full hand presence with the Higgs VR mod (which also adds HL: Alyx gravity glove pickup behaviour), and full body presence and IK via the VRIK mod with holsters on your body, arms and back as well as other features. It's incredible what modders have achieved. It's how the game should have released.

Well worth a try if you tried Skyrim VR and didn't like the lack of full motion controller support.

Finally beat it today, targeting those siege weapons is definitely absolutely vital. One hit from them and you are done basically.

I figured the more rare something is, the more important it is! It was really close for me, right down to the last 10% for some of the sections I guess. Much harder than I found the other one where you were shooting.

Good to know thanks

Yeah I breezed the other one earlier in the game but had an absolute 'mare with this one. So happy to finally beat it.

I've just jumped back into this game, and i finally did the bit i was stuck on :D

so now, i am on the next part, just finished of all of the ones where the guy has a boat who sails on the river of blood.
now I'm on the next character

I have no idea how you guys managed to beat the game so quickly !!! lol

I still haven't finished it!! Not even close. I play it for a while, spend way too long doing side missions and/or trying for achievements, and then get distracted by a new game. After a few months something reminds about the game and I go back to play some more but spend ages relearning everything and then I play for a while and get distracted again etc. etc. :p

So, long story short, I am not even as far in the game as you Shi!!

But, I will be returning, as I just got a 6900XT and want to see how that compares in games to my 2070 Super.
