Ashes of the Singularity Coming, with DX12 Benchmark in thread.

Does anyone seriously look at efficiency when playing a game? lol

All the time....I have even started to re-rifle all the sniper rifle barrels in BF4 just to get an edge. ;)

Greg/FS123 - People make mistakes and read things wrong all the time. Good though that some of us on here do put up their hands and admit it when they do it. As long as we put down the facts and there is a reasoned albeit contrdictory stance on something.....we can always get to the truth of it all.

Those articles were still very interesting though...full of detail and info. :)

For fun only I did a 1440P bench on Crazy settings and recorded with ShadowPlay (didn't even realise I could record DX12 with it). Much better quality, albeit not as good as the raw files from hardware capture cards.

40 fps for those that don't want to watch it.

General question, do you guys play games with fraps running ? Or anything else that shows fps etc when playing games ?

It's helpful for adjusting graphical settings. Generally find afterburner on the second monitor does the job, leave it running once setting are done, and may take a look at it for a specific reason. Otherwise just ignore it.

Okay I bit the bullet....AOTS is on sale for £19.99 on Steam. Downloading now...just updated to Crimson 16.2 as well. Will have a play when I get in from work tonight. :)

Isn't there 2 different modes for multigpu;
AFRGPU=0
AsymetricGPU=0

Guys with dualcards, test both out and see if there is difference in scaling.

Does Ashes support portrait mode gaming?

Can't really tell for sure how ui responds, but you can simply use whatever resolution you want, by simply editing it from settings file.

Here is screenshot from random 1000x1080 resolution :D

Edit. UI seems to work just fine. Screenshot is from benchmark so it doesn't have UI showing.

Meh i wanted to check out the bench, but its £20 with 50% off at steam, and i won't pay this amount to run a benchmark.
