That last match made me laugh, their first 10 wicket defeat in a one dayer, but I still wouldn't count them out when it matters in the World Cup though.

yeah missing some players but was quite funny. The devastating (SR 25.00) Watson who I was told in this thread was better than Flintoff was playing to his usual great standard ;) Some of the stand in or young players don't seem to be as good when they don't have 10 other first teamer's around them. When they come in to a winning team 1 or maybe 2 at a time we're being told of a great future for Australian cricket.

2nd one dayer over in kiwi land.. aussies 4 / 336 of 50 overs..
they need to win this to stay number 1 in the world.. if they lose then the south africans go into world cup as number 1.

They really took those part timers to pieces. Bond went totally wayward at the end. At one point he had bowled 6 overs for 7 runs!

Well the Black Caps beat them again, but can't find out if that makes SA number 1 or not.

As funny as it is for us to revel in the Aussies current form, their starting line up will differ from their recent starters, so I'd still make them favourites.

    Holy crap!

I went to bed at about 2:30 thinking that the Kiwis had no chance. Cant believe they won with overs and wickets to spare.

    Played!
