Former home secretary Jack Straw has claimed there is a problem with vulnerable white girls being targeted for sexual abuse by some Pakistani men.

The Blackburn MP talked of a "specific problem" involving Pakistani men and called on the community to be "more open" about the issue.Mr Straw told the BBC: "Pakistanis, let's be clear, are not the only people who commit sexual offences, and overwhelmingly the sex offenders' wings of prisons are full of white sex offenders.

"But there is a specific problem which involves Pakistani-heritage men... who target vulnerable young white girls.

I'd question those people claiming these asians are British. Why don't you ask them? Because I guarantee they won't agree with that.

It matters not what they believe or what you question. If they were born in this country and they and their immediate family were resident in the UK at the time of their birth then they are British.....that is a FACT.

Is there an issue with ethnic gangs targeting women, of course. Is this limited to Asians, No. Eastern European gangs are also rife in the rape and forced prostitution of women. White Criminal gangs also have been involved in prostitution and the inherent mistreatment of women for generations also.

This is not about multiculturalism, it is about organised gang crime.

This is not only limited to Asian Youth Gangs although those with a prejudice to air will try to tell everyone otherwise.

You also need to consider the uneven conviction rates in the USA of ethnic minorities, especially in the Black and Hispanic communities.

Nothing justifies rape, The Asian Gang in the OP are not poor or misunderstood either, they are simply criminals of the worst kind, however stating that it is predominantly a ethnic activity on the strength of conviction rates in the USA is disingenuous and is pandering to racial stereotypes.

I will quite happily ignore Jack Straw and the pakistani men can quite happily rot in prison for the rest of their lives for all I care. Much like the many white sex offenders serving time in our prisons.

Asian men do, not all of them, but some. They just find it more easy to get pasty with them, instead of lets say a black women/asian women.

Some Asian men do target white women, I don't think anyone is disputing that. However it is because they see, rightly or wrongly, that they are easier targets then other ethnicities rather than any other reason.

It has nothing to do with anything other than the perception of a certain 'type' of women that they hold.

When I was young, women of a certain 'type' used to target Black men (not to rape them of course), we each have our prejudices although we don't always become criminals because of them.

But I think that we're forgetting the point.

The fact is that rapists could be of any skin colour. The point is not that there's too many rapists who are Pakistani or whatever. The point is that those rapists who happen to be South Asian, tend to target white women. And as pointed out in Family guy, everyone is upset when a white girl is the victim.
