They have just as much legal 'right' to be here as the mixed cauldron we call 'English'. Doesn't make their crimes any lessing disgusting... but that' sthe way it is.

If one ethnic group hangs around in gangs more than another ethnic group, it doesn't make it worse, it just forms a subtle variation of a crime when they are commited.

Yes, but if you can't make your own decision then it's not freely given consent.

If people can freely refuse an arranged marriage, without any fear, without any pressure, without any influence, without any guilt for going against their parents' wishes, without any negative repercussions at all...then what is the point of arranged marriages? May as well arrange for Cliff Richard to marry Lady Gaga - I can decide that they should get married, but I have no power to make them do so.

Well, seems it's quite clear most people here don't know what a modern day arranged marriage is and are only going by what they read about in the news.
