AsRock Extreme4 Gen3 - constant rebooting

That looks like a problem with the CPU then, not the board.

Maybe, but I am not sure. It only showed that display once; it almost always just reboots and doesn't display an error code, just the normal numbers it hops through as it boots up.

I wish I had another Sandybridge processor to test :(

I've had graphics issues with this board as a new build. Had no issues using the IGPU but with a 570 in the PCIE2 slot the machine would constantly crash and reboot when booting to windows with graphics driver installed. I could only get it to work in PCIE4 which resulted in the card only running with x8 lanes. Tested the 570 in an older machine and had no issues running with x16 lanes. I RMA'd the motherboard but it passed all of Overclockers tests so ive got it back and will be trying it again tonight, i expect much swearing will ensue.

I think I may RMA the i5 first, as it will be cheaper to post and that will confirm whether my problem is the motherboard or the processor.

Well if you go that route and you have had the cpu more than 28 days be prepared for a 1 month wait to get a replacement cpu if they send it off.
personaly i think you should send both and let them test it to see if they can get it stable.

I'll speak to OCUK in the morning and see what they think. Full system is about a week old I think.

daft question but check your cpu temps in the bios, are they high ? error 67 is a cpu problem. i have a fan ctrlr and when i installed my new psu i plugged the cpus h50 fan ctrl lead into the fan ctrl it was set on mega low so the cpu would heat up and restart, would either boot loop or restart from desktop. make sure your cpu cooler fan lead is securely plugged into your motherboard.

had this board running for over 10 days with 3 x agility ssd and 2 x 4890 pcs+ crossfire with a fresh install of win7 64 bit an has been running flawlessly clocked to a prime stable 4.6ghz @ 1.31 volts max load core temps in the high fifties.

Just out of interest you dont have instant boot installed do you ? Also Out of interest what did overclockers say about the situation when you rang them back today ?
