so just got mine got special edtition cover looks nice i'll post some pictures later.

with special edition u get 4 more investigations , rooftop race chalange, archer stealth assassination challenge, assassin escort escort, merchan stand and destruction chalange.

so far so good installing now half way there using LiteON DH-20A4P-21C 20x DVD±RW IDE Dual Layer ReWriter

I just made my way to Damascus,but I am missing the throwing knifes,did I miss an objective or they will be available later?

I'm getting some weird graphic problems though (http://img30.picoodle.com/img/img30/4/4/11/f_weirdspikesm_e916073.jpg). Hopefully a graphics driver update will sort it.

Hmm I just got past the tutorial and was out in the city. I was lobbing throwing knifes at civilians from the start.

Hmm I just got past the tutorial and was out in the city. I was lobbing throwing knifes at civilians from the start.

Everything is available at the start,as the story goes on you miss everything though

Got everything on full with res of 1280x960 i think, works on 1440x900 but isn't as smooth

Hm I seem to be getting an error part way through installation. I've installed it on another PC so this isn't a DVD issue.

Can anyone help?

It's a DVD drive issue, your DVD drive is not usable with that type of retail disc!

lol, maybe I can install across the network? It musn't be dual layer the drive I have ! :mad:

By the way this is half way through installation, so it does ready the disc!

Guys I'm getting the same error when installing from another drive off another PC that the game did install from, does this rule out the fact it is the DVD drive?

It keeps crashing for me,"your video driver has stopped working"followed by a blue screen sometimes and my 8800 GTX isn't even oc/ed

.Any ideas?

I have a DualShock pad, and can imagine it being easier to play..

its much better with mouse and keyboard. default is a 2 button mouse setup and using random keys around wasd to do the various actions. With the 5 button mouse setup all the action keys except lock on and eagle vision are on the mouse and are damn great. everything is hittable and doable with a twitch of a finger or thumb. On the pad you have to move to change camera angle and its simply not as good.

Its one of the best ports to date in terms of changing controls over to the mouse and keyboard and having it work better than console and so smoothly.

It is a shame the story wasn't more involving and a its done fairly badly, in so far as all the talking bits are stupendously slow and its just fairly dull info you get told and fairly dull characters telling you stuff. Oh well, if they can get a similarly smooth game, shake up the gameplay a little more and have a better story without the ridiculously slow tutorial I'll buy the oh so obviously coming sequel.
