**Assassins Creed Unity Performance Benchmark Thread**

Wow, people are going to give these con artists their hard earned? Everything I've read points to this game being a total mess in regards performance and several other areas. Even the console versions which only run at 1600*900 and still can't hold 30fps most of the time! Reeks of a game which should have been given more time in development.

Indeed I will, I pay taxes, I pay Council Tax, I pay National Insurance, so I am used to getting mugged off :D

2 patches for the pc version already :o
i liked black flag (still not finished it! lol) so ill give it a go

hope they fix it up bcas the co-op part of it looked fun to me

When will ubisoft ever release a working pc game? Another game with performance issue and the real question is will the ever get fixed?

Users on Steam claim the PC version is poorly optimized and suffers from a wide range of problems, including poor frame rate, crashing, clipping, mouse lag on menus, freezing, poor rendering, and a general lack of graphics options.
Ubisoft has commented on the problems, noting that they seem to effect AMD users especially.
"We are aware that the graphics performance of Assassin’s Creed Unity on PC may be adversely affected by certain AMD CPU and GPU configurations," Ubisoft said on their forum. "This should not affect the vast majority of PC players, but rest assured that AMD and Ubisoft are continuing to work together closely to resolve the issue, and will provide more information as soon as it is available."

Looks like another Watch Dogs quality game in Ubisoft's great tradition/fashion?

Agreed, never been a fan of assassin's creed tbh but since I'll be playing Farcry 4 am now thinking I should get that Xmas present changed for something else.

Am done with this poor company.. These are worse than EA and ea get more stick. How much more longer can people on pc keep giving these money?

"game has been rushed out and a sneaky review embargo was in place for half a day after launch - so early adopters would take the plunge and purchase without seeing reviews"

lolz thats pretty bad
lots of pride in their work huh!

Game industry (for Ubisoft at least) is becoming like the stock market? :D

I still recall some of their ridiculous claims, and trying to pass off their BS and generalise them as representation for the entire game industry :p

:)
yeh maybe they should do like brokers and rename to dump the bad press!, the hate for ubisoft is strong lol
i think they will just use the excuse of piracy some more tho, which is a circular argument, people mostly pirate if they unsure they want to pay $60 for it,
a good game, good reviews, beta access = less pirates
that and some online goodies

blocking early reviews is just cashing in on the people that went for the hype huh
then they troll face the bad press haha

To be fair it runs pretty bad on the consoles too... Dips down into the 20's a lot sometimes single digits. At least us PC owners can use brute force to bring the fps up.

For some odd reason the 1.2 patch they mentioned hasn't been released , so Im going to have to wait.

But heres a few preliminary benchmarks to get a feel of performance :D
