Tried to find a thread for this game, but it looks like there were only talks touching the subject indirectly. However, if there is one, please merge.

With that said, probably Ubi is going for CGI quality this time. :p

Given that they are promising only 900p and 30fps on consoles it looks like the PC could be so much the better option.

As a big ac fan, I'm avoiding this one until the post release reviews hit. Since AC3 they've slowly lost that magic touch and I don't really trust Ubisoft to produce a quality title anymore. Yes AC4 from a boating pov was great - as an AC game, it was the weakest of the lot.

Honestly i could not get into any of the previous assassins creed games at all, after an hour or so i just quit and never went back, with assassins creed 4 i loved everything about it, could not put it down, if the new one is anything like 4 im buying it!

Ah yes, the latest iteration of Ubisoft the Game.

Until they show that they're capable of innovating a bit I think I'll steer clear.

The repeated land based eavesdrop missions, of which seemed to be like 90% of them became tedious extremely fast from what I recall. Other then that I agree the game was lovely. I just want to see detailed cities again with gorgeous architecture again like I could back in the early AC's.

I can't get on with the previous AC games but I loved IV.

I'm going to wait to see what people say about this before buying.

seriously? they mention support for the r9 200 series, so will give it a try when it comes out on a msi r9 280 & see how it goes.

....& 50gb hd space????

I'm looking forward to this. The one thing I missed in III was the big, old cities, the verticalness of the architecture, twisting alleyways etc. I honestly enjoyed the ship sections of III better than the rest of the game.

Need to play Black Flag still, does anyone know if it's going cheap anywhere?

I will get it simply because I am obsessed with the French Revolution, and I have been calling for an AC game set there for ages!....however, I have no high hopes for it considering how bad Black Flag was.
