Assassin's Creed: Unity

You should have 30FPS+ maxed settings (No AA), I get average of 40FPS with CF290X's, though I'm not convinced it's smooth, feels like the game isn't as optimised as it could be.
 
Running at 2560x1080 here on a 290. It looks jaw dropping, but I only get 40fps max using ultra settings then turning off AA (or using FXAA).

Really? :eek: I've only got a 1080 monitor and from what i've been hearing I might as well not bother even at that resolution with my r9 290 , i5 4670K. What's your cpu?
 
I've just seen total biscuit video where he plays this and I have to admit apart from character models this game does look very pretty.
He was scaling some buildings and to me it looked very photo realistic.
 
Tbh, a lot of the criticism's people have with the actual game are things that I like. They seem to be slating it for not being like Black Flag, but I really, really disliked Black Flag, and I am quite happy it has gone back to more AC2-like gameplay. The story still looks atrocious though.

Some beauts in there. Total style over substance, and hope nobody notices because they're too impressed with the power of their new GPU.

Meanwhile, the rest of the sane PC gaming world rolls their eyes.


Looking at some of those glitches there are some fundamental problems that won't be fixed quickly, dare I say it (course I do, it's Ubi) if at all.
 
Put a few of hours into this now, and unless you itching to play another AC game or your a massive fanboy of the series I would save your money. Yes the graphics are excellent, best in a AC game to date by far. But it really is the same thing all over again, for me it gets boring quite quick.
The girl is copied straight from Witcher and why cant I open all chests!!
I will play the main missions and that'll be it for me, if I make it that far.

Lots of games coming out this time of year and I fear this is not at the standard the others will be.
 
Justice is served. Money is the only thing these ass hats understand so hopefully they will learn.
