I read you can get the coins for completing in game challenges but after sinking 30 hours into watchdogs I still don't have a single coin so I'm not sure, still new to uplay.Best of all, you will have gotten most of the 100 coins back for doing the preorder too

You should get most of them for just completing the main storylines.
I wish the 10th would hurry up and come, I'm in that pre-release limbo at the moment where I dont have the motivation to get too into any particular game because I know that AC Valhalla is coming in 6 days, which has left me just staring at my PC of an evening scratching my head over what to play

Am I correct in thinking we can pre-download this on the 6th Nov from Uplay even if bought from CD Keys?
Depends when they deliver the key. If you got the key and already applied it and game is showing in your games list, don't see why not.

I sent the question to them asking why CD Keys are not offering the pre-download and this was the emailed reply later :
Hi,

Our pre-order keys are delivered on the day the game is officially released, which is also the date mentioned on our product page.
Although we are committed to delivering pre-orders on time, in some cases, due to time zone differences or possible technical difficulties there might be a delay in delivering the key to you.
We will also send a notification email to you so you know when the product keys are available for accessing.

It's a decent saving and you get most of the coins back
Just started my download now , estimated 10minutes (64MB/s download), noice !
Slightly larger, very slightly, from what I had heard, I heard it was 43.76gb download. Will be interesting to see what size it is installed
Do we have an official map yet? I see Kent on the gameplay vids but it is not showing any detail, like it's just a placeholder.

Interesting...there are a load of videos in the Videos folder of the game when downloaded that you can watch, one of the folders is Abilities , appears to contain short "tutorial" videos of each ability, also a Skills folder, with videos of the skills
