Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Watched 2 of highest viewers on Twitch yesterday and the graphics looked really dated. I would compare it with the original mordor game. Both were playing on PC so I'm not sure if they had gfx lowered for some weird reason.

Must have been a terrible stream. 4K gameplay videos look so many times better than the original Mordor game. Even origins and odyssey were many times better liking than Mordor.

This, I watched a couple of streams and the graphics were amazing, not so much on the character faces which were dated (as you would expect perhaps from an engine on its final game) but the terrain and landscapes were fantastic. Keep an eye on the high res screenshot thread and I imagine you'll see some extremely desktop background worthy screenshots

Pretty much. The other complaint is that textures seem to be quite low res. The landscapes look stunning, as they always do. New Ubisoft engines bring some huge changes, so the next games should look crazy. I remember playing unity for the first time having played the last gen and my mind was blown.
 
No email yet but I was just able to claim my redemption on the AMD rewards site and start pre-loading :)

I paid £13 for the Ubisoft sub to play around with Watch Dogs and this before paying full price. Got this preloaded to try out now. Really enjoyed Odyssey, hoping for similar.
 
Don't forget you can use a VPN to unlock early. As I'm using Uplay+ and "renting" the game, I am not sure it will work. But when I had regular Uplay and bought the games it did work for Origins and Odyysey.

Log into the AMD rewards site and it should tell you under the 'My Rewards' section. Mine now states 'Open Uplay PC (or download it here) to play your game.'/
 
If only I wasnt working from home today I'd vpn in at midday and play, but got work to do by the time I finish working today and get some dinner it wont be too far off midnight, so I'll hang on
