They're worth it for Brands Hatch and Catalunya alone IMO. Plus, the Lotus 72 will be appearing in here at some point amongst others.

It's obviously a bit late now (Captain hindsight to the rescue), but it's best to grab any DLC packs when they come out, as they're often discounted.

Tsukuba is a good track, but it needs the right cars. Stuff like the MX5 cup works well there.
Blackwood is good fun with a car that handles properly. I've had a good few league races there, but prefer this version of the main layout, though it's not essential.
Personally, I find Thruxton to be a complete yawnfest apart from the chicane.
That Singapore road track is ok for a quick blast.
FWIW I've been trying to dilute the good mod tracks with official content, so as not to blow the wad all at once

How about something like a point to point TT on something like Transfagarasan? That's pretty nuts and I'll be happy to put in a terrible car or two for you loonies

I hear you mate, and I do appreciate the input. As you know, I do already try and put in at least one relatively 'crap' car for those that enjoy that kind of challenge
As for ETS2, I also like to just chill with the internet radio on there every now and then for a change.
McLaren F1 is cool with me, Mr Floyd. Brakes are a bit poo, but I don't mind too much.
With a point to point like Transfagarasan or Pikes Peak, the challenge is in just completing the course without falling off a mountain and being sent back to the start and it's something you can just treat as going for a good drive without worrying too much about times if you don't want to.
Saying that, this is meant to be a TT challenge. If we just want to go for a drive, we can do that at any time privately

We don't do pcars because none of us particularly like the way it feels/drives with many of the cars and how much of a pain in the arse it is to get the wheel feeling right with it.
I tried to get on with it, but it just didn't work out.
I hear it's had a few updates recently, so maybe I'll give it another go at some point.

The F1 GTR is surprisingly decent around here and not too tricky if you're careful. Just don't leave the braking until the last second
As for the track, I rezipped my own copy and uploaded it in case anyone has any difficulty with the RD link.

It works for me and all I did was zip the Williams folder in my car directory and upload it.
Can you enter the server with any of the other cars without getting a checksum error?

ED: Wrote this while trying to find stuff Guess we know what's what then.
I think the problem is that I only uploaded the car, and forgot about the driver and fonts folders. Reason being that I don't seem to have the original zip and can't find an official download apart from the current paid beta on the ASR site...
I'll have a look in my AC directory to see if I can find them. If not, I'll change the car.
