I know it's ctl + space but I have to lean forward to press it which means the head tracking is off when I'm in position. I don't understand why steam VR doesn't allow you to change it, Iracing manages it.

Oh, I wa sasking on your behalf. I thought you couldn't find the controls, but re-reading your post I assume you mean you know the keys but couldn't find the relevant option to rebind them?

Voice attack is still a good shout though as is the joy2key option.

yeah it's the rebinding that's the issue, need to put it on my wheel. I've took to google but can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

I have already posted use Joy2key. Just map a button to the existing key combo.

Or, it's look left/right at the same time. Hold them down and move into position and then release.

I meant not using a 3rd party program.

You just need the option in the settings.
There must be a 'reset headset' option that can be remapped to the steering wheel. If the key combination is there then it would be nice if it's rebindable. It's possible that it's a hardcoded value and isn't rebindable so back to the voice-attack/joy2key options.

edit: On further thought. It's possible as it's a two key combo that's why it's not rebindable and not listed.

Very annoying, I bought a Thrustmaster T300 secondhand to finally give VR racing a try... turned up without a power chord and without the clamp! Grrr.... can't wait to try it.
