Assetto Corsa

I bought AC back in June way before v1.0 when it was still in Early Access.

It seems they may have forgotten this

Well it says that unless you bought it after v1.0 we won't get it which is weird. Anyway I bought it anyway as I had some money in my steam wallet.

Hope they do a decent Nissan GTR sound, I'd buy the pack if it actually sounds like a Skyline.

A GTR doesn't sound like a skyline though its a v6 in the gtr rather than an inline in the skyline.

"We said that the first DLC would be discounted for EA users. The first DLC was supposed to be the SPA circuit with the Mercedes SLS GT3 car.
We gave that for free, during the Early Access time towards the end... I mean SPA laser scanned for free. Oh and we also gave for free the Ferrari LaFerrari and the RUF Yellowbird, without promising about those... again I repeat for free. The Early Access price was 22% lower than the actual
price of today's 1.0 final version. There was an error in the UK market by Steam but was fastly corrected in the first days of the v1.0 release. Also during Early Access we had the usual Steam sales during which some people may have bought it for 20bucks (I presume we speak dollars)"

Pretty disappointed with the cars not a single one really interests me would much rather have more road cars that all drive differently. I'll probably still buy it for the track though am I right in thinking that if you bought the game before it was released you get this for half price or did I dream that up?

I also don't care about
the gt cars, but Mclaren p1, legendary Mercedes-Benz 190(m3 e30 nemesis) and awd Alfa are all very tasty, just remember that they have to please both camps, I'm sure there is a lot of ooh-aah about Mclaren f1 gt3 in some circles ;-)

The Alfa should be interesting as its 4wd and we've yet to see how the physics are for 4wd. To be honest the cars were also voted for on the forums so it must be what people want just too many gt3 cars that drive similar IMO.

Bought this in late 2013 and back then it promised 1st DLC free. Appreciate sub tenner is good, but going back on something advertised when purchased is poor imo.

I wonder if their marketing team have forgotten their early "promises" or the relatively cheap DLC pre-order price is a carrot for the masses to sub-due such people as the early adopters to be superseded by the praise for later adopters of the "cheap" DLC....

Questionable marketing!?!

The first dlc was free technically as it was Spa and the Merv SLS. What confused me is they said the dreampack would be 50% off but it seems that it was only for people that bought it the month after V1.0 was released if the link above is anything to go by.

There is also the old classic Alfa GTA that I forgot about - also an interesting road car, we'll see how it compares to the Miura. And there is the BMW 323... Completely agree about gt cars though and would swap the lot of them for some more Road cars. Hopefully free dlc Street version Nissan GTR not too far off, same with Toyota classics and Lambos of course:-)

Pre version 1 peeps should get it for less than everyone else as they haven't got anything for their early adoption that people like me didn't get who bought post v1.0...if that makes sense.

Pre ordering as soon as I get home....can't beliwve how good the car selection is for me.

I'd be luck to get one car I liked in a Forza 4 pack, here there are 2 absolute stonkers (P1 and C7) and the rest look great too.

BMW 323? I haven't spotted that, they're doing the 235i? Buts its the race version.
