oh nice, yeah let us know how you get on
Well I've had a little play for an hour or so and I'm not utterly wowed by it (CSR wheel) tbh.
*DISCLAIMER* This is not my final 'review' or anything, just first impressions and comparisons based on 2yr old memories
After updating to the latest drivers/firmware and getting it set up in AC, I did a few laps in various cars and gave it a brief dial-in with the on-wheel settings.
While it's nice, I didn't feel that it was a huge leap over a DFGT in terms of feel and feedback. /controversy.jpg

Yes, you don't get 'cogging', but there is what feels like a little bit of belt slip here and there, although I wouldn't say it's an issue. Paddles are nice though.
The pedals are quite a lot better as you'd imagine, but for me and my size 12's, even the max preload on the throttle isn't firm enough and I'll be looking into a tuning kit.
CSR Elites and an inversion kit may have been a better choice than CSP's for me.
I still need to get the brakes/load cell dialed in and I'm way off the times that I was getting with a pad, but then I'm so used to using a pad that it's no surprise that it'll take a while to adjust and get the settings exactly where I want them.
Anyway, those are just early thoughts and we'll see how it goes
