Can everyone read this article and then raise your concern over at the NV forums please:

I wondered why negative LOD made no difference, the above article explains all.

Wow, great spot! Posted on nvidia forums https://forums.geforce.com/default/...clamp-negative-lod-bias/7/?offset=100#4187194

Can anyone tell me how to get this cam view in replay please?

You can cycle through such cams with F6 I think.

On a separate note, downloading iRacing so look forward to comparing it to AC. $1 sub for a year was rude to pass up (was given to firend, he didnt want it:))

I signed up yesterday - $9 for 3 months so thought I'd give it a shot - not as good a deal as you got though!

I just redeemed my $1 for 1 year deal and it turns out I already had $2.50 in my iRacing account from last time i played, so basically its cost me nothing. :)

Its a gt3/4 lotus though so not bad. Elise is a boring car imho- too much grip for the little power it has. But Exos S1 (F1) is among the finest cars in sim racing imo, Evora is good fun too, but tainted by a super fat front tire bug. Senna's F1 Lotus is going to be epic too. Lotus rules! :)

Did a few laps in iRacing (Mazda Mx5). Initial impressions were- why cant it drift and how do you catch slides? Its a rear wheel car after all! But then I read up on MX5 and found out its an open diff or very nearly open diff (now I know why it has gay car rep :)), so yeah, not directly comparable to AC's M3 e30 (which has LSD ,right?), the latter car is just much more capable. But mx5 drives well for what it is, feels good.

Cool, just waiting for it to go live

seems they have added a ton more track detail which is really nice.

yep, only tested Imola and Monza but more detail there, Monza in particular is looking really good, really happy bunny today :) don't know if it's just me but it all looks much sharper too and there's better light for 3D vision.

I have found that from the cockpit I struggle to be fast and smooth if the g-force simulation is on, as soon as I switch them off I find it a lot easier. I think I may be over compensating with the movement.
