Assetto Corsa

I didn't notice any difference the last time I tried them and I don't think there were any fresh updates in the last week.

I still find it hard to unsettle the car when braking compared to any other game.

Have you updated your driver recently? I had the same feeling when I went to the newest driver...rolled back to an older one and it feels fine again.

Yeah, I had a fps dip in 0.85, but back to normal in 0.87

Just gave it a go again, havent touched AC or pCARS since mid Dec (barely touched pCARS during last half of 2013 really) as ive finally got my PC and Obutto setup working. Also purchased 3x Dell 29" 2560x1080 monitors for it, and a 290X which doesnt appear to be posting (mate is checking for me) and having to make do with my 270X.
I was hoping it'd be reasonably playable, just enough to give me a rough glimpse of what it'd look like with a capable GPU in there to back up the monitors. Couldnt believe it when it was reporting solid 50+ fps (solo, Macca GT3 @ Silverstone), i havent touched anything with the GPU settings in-game or out, ive only told it to run as triple screen not single. I'd gone in expecting 10-20fps :D

Still got a buttkicker to mount (and an isolator platform to build!!) but im well impressed given that the visuals in AC are really nice. pCARS might be better for visuals, but thats where it stops (ok, more content too).

Should be at the weekend.

Issues have arisen again, the steering degrees in game are 900, same as the profiler for Logitech G27, and half a 90 degree turn does 90 or more in game. What do I need to do? I had it working before.

Try the re-calibration wizard in AC otpions

looking forward to the update tonight...

while I've been waiting for this update I've been doing the drift circuit with the BMW E30 and managed to reach lv 10...

any other tips to get higher...
My car assits are all off with stability at 50%.

Tried recalibrating, but it puts the lock at 418 and odd degrees even when i spin it 90 degrees when it asks, and a full left to right lock at well.

I had no idea you could get custom tracks!

You can, but at the moment there are no official tools and visual quality is poor compared to the official ones.

Not sure then, did you try it with some other driving game? You can quickly download LFS, its free to play and has excellent FFB. But not sure what else...

have you looked at the settings for USB controllers through windows?

Like the way you join the sessions, but not join right away. very much like the old lobby systems, and how iRacing do joins for races allowing you to get practice in before hand without loosing your place.

Does feel very iracing like. Looking forward to this need to spend a bit more time with AC but iracing is taking all my spare time atm.

Looks like todays update is delayed, just saw this on the racedepartment forum

Dear AC followers, we are encountering an unknown and unpredictable issue that causes random crashes with single-player race events, probably due to some additional implementations that single-player thread shares with the multiplayer build. We are working to identify the cause and to solve it, but we can't commit the new build within today. We apologise for this inconvenient, we'll keep you informed as soon as our development team will be able to make the new build available, hopefully within tomorrow.

Thank you for your patience and your kind support.
