ASUS AMD NAVI 5700 AT £249 & 5700 XT AT £299 WITH FREE GAMES, CASHBACK BF OFFER, DETAILS INSIDE!!!

Hi @Gibbo, I bought the reference Asus 5700 from OCuk today, and looking at the cashback process though Asus. When I click on the £40 cashback claim page https://promotion.asus.com/en/uk/amdvgacashback there is a button at the bottom ‘Redeem your cashback’ (from 9th December). Click it (after selecting your respective gfx card) and it just reloads the same page. In the T&Cs linked at the bottom of the same page https://promotion.asus.com/en/uk/amdvgacashback/tac it says that the cashback must be claimed through the online form set in this page: “needs to claim...via the ASUS online form, set here: https://promotion.asus.com/en/global/amdvgacashback
The form needs to be filled complete and properly, stating personal information, a valid invoice...” What form? There’s no form on that page.

If not, the wording (and the button at the bottom) is a bit misleading. Instead is it all done from the Asus account page following product registration (for both the £40 and £25 types of cashback)? Grateful for a steer

Finally, is a screenshot of your OCuk email of order confirmation enough to suffice as invoice/proof purchase?

sorry if seem to be bone questions, just want to be as sure as I can of getting cashback. Thanks in advance.

Ill be doing the same thing ... but you said it yourself ... redemption period from the 9th of dec. (it is the 4th today) - you need to wait 5 days to do it. Companies do this because there is always a few people that miss claiming back. Not sure about the other stuff you wrote - give it 5 days then give it a go IMO.

9th December, you can't claim anything until then. Then follow instructions from Asus to the letter. :)

Fair one, cheers

Having issues registering for the £40 cashback... my entry states 'This product already participated in a Promotion. Please check your entry. If the problem persists please contact our support by email: [email protected]'. Likely because of the ASUS radeon games bundle but I didn't see anything stating this would conflict with the cashback promotion. I've emailed Asus support and await a response.

Exact same issue, have sent emailed ASUS too, will have to wait and see I guess.

Well this cashback isnt going very well, this is the response -

Hello,
thank you very much for your mail.
The participation in more then one promotions with the same product is not possible according to Terms and conditions.
We ask for your understanding.

I knew that would happen. Anything that gives you a discount that's not at the point of sale is going always seems to be a pain in the backside (add to the fact this is Asus we're talking here it becomes almost a no brainer that there's going to be problems). Hopefully I'm wrong and this is just a temporary thing and the buyers are able to claim their money.

Hi there

I pointed Asus in the direction of this thread this morning so they can see some of you guys are having issues. They assured me it shall be looked into and sorted, of course anyone having issues do post and I shall keep sending them the link to the thread so they can get it resolved, because I do agree, the price should just be dropped at point of sale and that was requested, but alas for Asus this is the way.

And this is why we like Gibbo! he get's the pure BS...just a shame can't do anything as you're at the mercy of Asus.... Hope it gets sorted for the people.

If the 5700xt was £299.99 with no messing around I would've bitten their hand off!

Id have also purchased 10x more from them also.
