So.... Is it 120Hz or 144Hz? :p Title says 144, description says 120. Also "Staggoring"

Price isn't quite as astronomical as I expected.

This is the start of a very good thing...
Hopefully other manufacturers will follow suit and bring pricing down pretty soon

It looks like a gorgeous monitor!

How bloody much!
£500-£550 tops is all this is worth. I'm going to see how much other places are selling this for.

£669.99 - £799.99 will be the price in the UK. We have half of the entire UK allocation. :)

This is supposed to be $799 right? Good job Asus with your USD -> GBP conversions.
Considering other Asus 27" 1440p IPS $799 monitors come in at £480 not sure how they threw a £250 premium on this... No thanks Asus.

That's not true at all!
The other Asus 27" 1440P monitors is actually less in USD than the UK price in GBP at just $440, see for yourself:-

Different regions pay different monies, it has always being the case.

Price points!

But this being ROG will demand a premium... Also it being ROG will mean people are willing to pay it!

Quite happy with my 1080P 120htz Benq (even with its niggles), but damn 1440P 144htz is tempting, just not that that price! :o

Bring on the B grade! ;)

Hmmn, going to smash all the piggy banks & check down the back off my sofas tonight... me want!!

I've currently got a Dell U2713H (general usage) & a Benq XL2410t (gaming)... this could be the best of both worlds for me :)

This is good. The price premium is most likely because it's one of the first G-Sync monitors AND one of the first to have 1440p at 144Hz Now we just need some competing 1440p 144Hz monitors to be introduced at some more reasonable pricepoints. I can definately see myself picking one up for my next build!

Looks awesome, but I am going to wait until next year when Maxwell comes out, by which time these will hopefully be cheaper, and not the only 1440p 144 screen.
