Of course they will, when there's some competition! But until then Asus have it cornered!

I paid £360 for a 15" TFT monitor back in the day... £180 for a 12mb Voodoo2 and £450 for a Rio PMP 16mb (one of the first portable Mp3 players). Basically you pay a premium for getting cutting edge tech, it's always been the same way :)

And that's why I'm now running an SB setup with 7970's lol ;)

Is simply the case with most things, but when something really impresses me and I know I need it in my life, I will pay the premium so I can have it now and get the benefits from it now.

Waiting for a price drop could come soon or could take months, you never really know.
 
The first initial batch is now sold out guys.

The second wave of shipments should arrive mid-end of August.
 
Has anyone any recommendations on a premium monitor arm for the SWIFT? Needs to be flexible with easy adjustment.


-edit just spotted the Silverstone Arm on OC, anyone used one they look the business and i'm happy with the price? Also need to know the weight of the monitor without its stand.

really don't like my AOC 24in 144hz screen , but no way I'm going back to 4k and don't want to punt on a 1440p 60hz effort

but end of august is aaaaggggees away lol
