im going to try this right now and see what happens, as both pc's have fans on the same strip of cable, weird how it would affect it tho
I really hope you can fix this and i know how frustrating it can be.
This thread is making me cry

so someone with less than 2k posts on another forum says that the drivers are terrible?
the avalanche of posts that followed his indicate that he must be right and that his story is cool.
I bet that guy works for one of the UKs largest and most successful enthusiast system integrators too, just like me...
oh wait.
Oh my less then 2k should that be a small 2k or a HUGE 2K![]()
random comment you know i was impressed by my future husbands (he's a yank) pictures of the space shuttle.
makes sense to me as i don't rate someone by post count. enough now.

The point was, that the thread you linked was one post, from one person having an issue, with one sound card. Another member posted some advice, the thread then died. The lack of response by the OP would indicate to me that the issue was resolved, or that he just didn't care.
That in no way indicates that the Xonar cards have terrible drivers, are the worst product ever, etc.
Just saying.
the post was a little touch of humour, the guy said
Asus DX2 Drivers SUCK
Ok, no they don't - i just thought i'd say they suck to get people to read my topic

I'd be interested to find out when Marky gets it back if it works ok.![]()

Unfortunately, I sold half my PC along with my sound card - So I can't even test it when I get it back
Might have to rip a PC open at work and throw it in![]()

Any point digging up an old thread, to ask a question that has already been covered?

Yes.
It tells you to. Why on earth would you think otherwise?
