Think they need to start giving tickets away, barely any atmosphere at a lot of the events and the athletics stadium was barely one third full for those Heptathlon heats.

Attendances for the games have been rank no matter how the organisers try and spin it. Speaking from experience getting tickets for ANYTHING (bar football!) at London 2012 was a massive effort F5ing the ticket site every day for about 2 months in the run up to the games! Didn't matter if it was Athletics, Dressage or Wrestling, they can't even sell out the blue riband events here!!
Dread to think what the paralympics are gonna be like, might as well hold them behind closed doors.

That was a hell of a run by Almaz Ayana, to smash the record by that sort of margin is almost unbelievable so I really hope that she's clean.
Good so far by the British heptathletes too, I'll be hoping for more of the same over the next few events.

Rutherford messing around with two faults, played it safe for the board on the last jump and was pretty close to the cut off but goes through in the end.
Ah, good to hear. I saw his second jump and hoped he would make it on the final one.

I don't know how Jessica Ennis is able to stay so competitive although shes in great shape she looks so undersized compared to her rivals.

KJT beat Jess in the long jump but it was well shorter than what she is capable of. Jess still has the lead and given how bad KJT is at javelin, it's pretty much all over.

So were Gatlin and Blake to be fair.
He always looks so casual in the heats. Hilarious watching all the other guys struggling and stretching over at the line and he is just jogging along looking around.
That must have been before Jess even jumped.
KJT beat Jess in the long jump but it was well shorter than what she is capable of. Jess still has the lead and given how bad KJT is at javelin, it's pretty much all over.
Well it's all changed again. The Belgian girl has just taken the lead with a very good long jump.
