OK, they do work with windows 7 64!!

Just put my 5770s in my I7 machine and 10.3 is perfect!!

Why won`t the drivers go in on my other machine??

Its a Q6600,4gb ram ddr2 windows 7 64 and a CRT monitor.

Erm, what GFX? 5770? Have you tried fully removing the old drivers first? With the 10.3a you really should have the 10.2 packing installed first, but the new 10.3s (actually a bit older than the 10.3a) can be happily installed on their own. Try downloading the latest package again, or even an older set if still no luck.

If your Q6600 machine had an NV card in it, remove the NV software... I upgraded from an 8800gts to a 5850 and although I could install the drivers, I could not load CCC until I completely removed the old NV control panel and drivers.

The GTX 295s are out of everything now, On the I7 machine 10.3 works perfect with the sapphire 5770 in it.On the Q6600 machine I still can`t get the display driver on 10.3 working with the other 5770.

You don`t think its the CRT monitor?

This sounds like a good idea if you haven't already.

The Q6600 machine can`t take Nvidia cards, its crossfire only.

I dont understand, the cpu is nothing to do with the graphics card(s)

As said, if an Nvidia card was on your old Q6600 build, use driver cleaner to remove the nvidia rubbish then install the Cats

It definately wont be your CRT

SORTED IT!!

I tried installing 10.3 drivers with my HDMI monitor plugged in, and it worked!!

10.3 are in!!

It was the CRT monitor plug that was stopping the display driver working!!

Who would have thought it!

Looks like my Lacie CRT is no good from 10.3 up
