Price has been the same since launch no price movement at all.

It was £203 on my account for a while and then went back to £198. Dunno why.

When you say Wednesday, you're talking about delivery to us aren't you?

Just to 100% confirm everyone who currently has a powercolor 5850 on order will be recieving one on Wednesday 30th September.

Nice so Asus cards are now shipping despite never showing as in stock, but XFX cards that were ordered when showing as stock still leave me with "Order Status: In our warehouse queue"

Don't really have any hopes of my card shipping today despite Fatboy saying 100% the XFX's will be.

Reality check

A few HD 5870 cards probably got shipped here and there but in reality, we haven’t seen many Radeon 5870 cards shipping to their new owners. We talked to partners and some of them might have a few cards next week and October is the month when things should get better.


The big guys such as Newegg and Tigerdirect don’t have them, and in EU, a hundred plus cards are listed here, but none of them are available.

A launch partner in the UK got 20 cards and they sold instantly as there is a demand as the price is not that horrible, but the delayed Radeon 5850 might be a much better deal for roughly €210+ or $230 in the states.

We hope that Radeon 5870 is not what AMD management calls a hard launch, as they surely didn’t do a great job this time around.

ok i can appreciate im only 1 out of many many others and you are doing your best to help us all, but this could have been avoided if the 5850's were not listed at all until there was some kind of confimation.

i couldnt justify the extra £100 for the 5870 but im thinking of changing it to that, least i wont be left in lumber.

lets hope you hear about the sapphire today, im getting really frustrated about this now, but i dont hold you responsible fatboy your doing your best but this is the hardest order ive made, what a faff on
