It needs two 6 pin PCIe Connectors. It comes with two 4 pin molex to six pin PCie converters

thats what i thought but it's pretty cool to have a GF with a similar interest as yourself.

means he can clearly justify spending £600 on two cards cos she will too.

for us married/almost married folk we have to keep it under the raidar or explain why we need one until we're blue in the face.

I'm very fortunate that the Mrs is very tech savvy and a PC gamer. Instead of saying "You can't spend that much", I tend to get get "Go on, buy, buy!".

The mobos are Maximus II Formulas so we're hoping that running 8x/8x won't hurt performance too much
