Only had 5870's actually physically here and in stock. 5850's are on there way and schedule to arrive over the next few days.
 
Ok thanks for the reply. Put my order in today for the Sapphire 5850's im guessing it'll be here with me next tuesday after your big delivery of sapphire cards on monday
 
I would have bought straight away if 2GB models were in. I was on-line when cards went on sale.
My initial rush of blood for these cards have subsided and can happily wait for either 2GB or X2 now.

Monday is the largest delivery of free stock we have comming in. We have bits and bobs are arriving over the next few days but are more than taken on back orders.

When will I know if the powercolour 5850 that I ordered this morning will be shipped? Did you actually get any today like it originally said or will I have to wait till next week?
 
Tests show that there is practically no performance difference between running 16 x 2 and 8 x 2, when the board running at 8 x 2 is using PCI-E 2.0
 
Tempted with the cards.... but I think I will wait for a while.

I want to see which card to get the 50 or 70 with a few reviews. I don't game much currently so in no rush really. :(
 
Everyone likes to have the new tech, including myself, but I just can't justify spending that much on a new card right now.. I think I'll wait and see if one comes out with better cooling solutions a la the sapphire vapor X or toxic edition. I figure by the time one of those comes out, the price on the original will have dropped slightly and these cards will come in at a similar price to the ones we're seeing now. :)
