ATI crashing

well guys am sad to say, the cmos reset has not worked,

nor has strippin down to bare components, so i feel it may be time to sell this board on and buy a new one.

God and i somehow doubt ill be buying an asus :p

if anyone wants a challenge look for this board for sale in the mm at the end of the month who knows it may be fine and can grab a bargain.

o well. no switchin off the pc for me

see when you said tried lots of memory, did you actually test them with a memory tester?
also has the computer always done this or is it only been the past while?
i wouldnt go spending out on a new board without knowing for sure it is that.

sja it has done this since new, and the problem is it doesnt boot, it isnt the psu tried a new one it isnt the memory in all configuartions and types as it still doesnt boot and it isnt the gcard it would appear as i just tested it in another board and my god it works lol

tried a x850 pci and it still doesnt boot so i beleave after a few weeks of horror its the board.

I have requested a rma and will send it back for a new one, in the meantime al buy a top of the range board not from asus, and sell the asus when it arrives.

here mate, you checked if its the monitor? and why do you keep on pushing the cd/dvd drive tray button
i dont think that'll boot the machine ;)

honestly if it was me idve turned off all the unnesesary extra ports and things in bios to free up irq's.Then if the disabling cd drives(and trying a different hdd)didnt work i would ve binned it for sure.Actually i also would do a bios update TBS.THEN binned it.If you are going to sell it you should include the new starting instructions for user friendlyness.Nice of you to have it on video.Any noob will be able to follow that.
