ATi Eyefinity

Samsung/LG? will release them soonish, but honestly once u get involved in the game on 3 screens u dont notice the bezel. U do notice if it's an even number of screens cos ur sight sits between two screens.

I thought it was mainly samsung, although i wouldnt be surprised if other manufacturers got in this also. Hopefully they wont charge a premium for this extra feature.

I wish people would stop raging "I hate the black lines, I hate them" you sound like 5 year olds.

They're not 'black lines' they're bezels.

All these haters more than likely haven't even tried games across multiple screens, and the ones going on about how everyone should just get 42" TVs instead, perfect way of showing you don't have a clue what you're talking about.

It's not about having the largest screen possible, it's about peripheral vision, seeing the extreme right and lefts of the ingame view that add to the immersion factor.

A large TV is going to be the same as a smaller monitor, just bigger.

No increase in viewable information.

Big TVs as a PC monitor just isn't practical to some.

I've got a 42" for my TV because it's a TV, I sit closer to my PC, and having more than one screen is more practical than 1 large one, you can use them separately for other things.

I'm kinda looking forwad to this being the kick up the harris that CCP need to finally bring multi-screen support to EVE.

As for the bezel issues, you dont notice them one ioata when you are playing. The brain is very clever thing and will rule out what it doesnt need to see. So, un-noticable bezels

Now, just have to start saving for another 2x24" HP's and see who wants to buy my Viewsonic....

Not entirely sure which one it is, as i sort of 'acquired' it. Am not at home, so cant get details but is a 4:3 aspect ratio. Will find out. Great monitor, would only get rid so that i could have matching 24's

(Turns out it is the VP 2030B)

I've been waiting for GPU manufacturers to have more than 2 monitor outputs for ages now. Was tempted by the Sapphire 4850 X2's (with 4 DVI outputs) but they weren't fast enough to justify me upgrading from an 8800GT.

Eyefintity has now really got my attention! It's easy to have 2 monitors but you end up with a join right down the middle. 3 monitors to me has always been the obvious solution because you can focus your attention on the centre screen but have 2 wrap around side screens for that "immersive" effect.

I wasn't even that bothered about the new ATI 5 series Gfx cards until I found out about Eyefinity, but I think my allegiances are about to switch.

+1 as a triple screen gamer who has just been playing Need for speed shift, i don't even notice the bezels, but what I do notice is the amzing peripheral vision I get in that I can see to the left and right of the car i'm driving without having to press buttons etc.

Much better playing in 5040 * 1050 than 1900 * 1200.
