Atmosphere inside football stadiums

Out of interest how many have you visited?

urrrmmmm... I've been to Chelsea, Fulham, West Ham, Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham and Liverpool from the epl. Also been to QPR as well (free tickets!).

Perhaps you're supporting the wrong team? :p

For me, West Ham v Millwall in the league cup last year is up there for best atmospheres ive been to in recent years. Was buzzing for days after that one. :)

hahah i celebrate St. Totteringham's day every year so i'm pretty sure I'm on the right side of north London. I've been to Upton Park too but i didn't find it that live. Millwall fans have a history so you'd expect a great atmosphere.

personally, I think WHL can be quite dull at times :(

Newcastle and Villa (last time i went anyway) where always pretty good and intimidating for the visitors..

I've only ever been there during a few NLDs and Spurs Vs Chelsea so i've not really witnessed a quiet game there.

The only stadium I've ever been to regularly is the KC, and the only time it was ever really rocking was the play-off semi-final. As said, it's all dependent on circumstance really.

Personally though, I prefer the atmosphere of having a bit of banter with away fans and funny chants than I imagine I would just going "OOOOOOOOOOO" "SSSSSSSSS" all game.

The geordies definitely manage a good away support. Only lot I've ever seen give a pre-season friendly a bit of life.

05 CL Semi vs Chelsea @ Anfield .. never seen anything like it since :(

Agree with WHL though, always nice n noisy when we stroll down to the capital to play you lot.

Im a Port Vale fan, and you want atmosphere?

Come to the Vale v Crewe matches...Best footy matches you can EVER go to. It's proper intense!

Well its not a shock to see pretty much everyone say the team they support has the best atmosphere.

Atmosphere at the City Ground pre-kick off and during the first half at the City Ground vs Blackpool was immense, pity all it got us was a second half capitulation!

Ain't what i once was at the city ground mate.

What buggers me now is the lack of decent songs, all we do now is sing mostly the same generic flavour of the month crp, nottingham... and you reds.

Ofc we still gloat with a couple of the old favs, but the songs we sang about players, the right side start the waves ect... just don't happen like they used to.

For me the best iv'e ever known it at the ground was that first home game of the 94/5 season against man u. Briliant game, electric atmosphere, shame we were sitting in the bridgeford end though:(
