Attack on NI military base

They would off been outside their car. As i said before all cars have bulet proof glass. All cars here are armored

Umm sorry you may not be well known but a common tactic is to call in a local disturbance sniper waites fro cops to get out and insoect then shoots them. its what they used to do in the 80s

I'm pretty sure they called and it was confirmed that it was them.

A phone call? Is that it?

When I see a fair trial and its conclusion (something that is quite rare now in the UK), then I'll cast blame. Until then I'm reserving judgement on who is responsible for the shootings.

It was a call to a Dublin based newspaper using "a recognised codename".

Coded phone call is the best you'll get mate. It proves who it is, and they will take responsibility if they're on the offensive so to speak.

This is 2009 btw.

How many years did you live in NI during the troubles? Or are all your arguments based on what little info reaches the mainland, plus a little hearsay and bravdo from ex-squaddies?

Seems strange that it's all happening in Armagh.

There's a bomb scare in Lurgan a couple of times a week, usually on the railway lines beside the Kilwilkee estate which is a big CIRA area. They don't even bother reporting it any more it happens that often. This is being reported now because of the recent events.

Yes that's it, but that's all that's neccessary.

also their probally the only guys able to get hold of fully automatic and sniper grade rifles without having to deal with pira/sf guys.
If they were dealing with pira/sf they wouldn't target them, unless they wanted a quick death.

I am well aware of what they done in the 80's. I was pointing out to cheets that the police would not have been sitting in their car. If they were they would still be alive.

I really just meant that it's all localised. Not just that it's Armagh.

Although there are more loyalist paramilitaries in Armagh than any of the other counties, am I right?

i just hope they werent planning anything for that loacl school. whens st. paddys day? cos i expect if it rira theyll want to celebrate with something big...

Their weapons were almost certainly stolen from old PIRA arms dumps.

Depends on the weapons and ammo, the barret .50 cals of the 90's snipers could piece the bullet resistant" glass.
