lol, this soo prooves that you have to be perfect in society.

One extreeme is the common chav who is out all day, some causing a general nucence.

The other is an "emo", who stays in, and dont really bother anyone except for thier "lame" poetry, which is totally up to a person to read it or not.

How are "emo" kids affecting people? Why are they hated so?

Cant people just carry on with thier own lives, and stop influencing others?(i know, sounds very hypocrytical!)

People who write this stuff are just as sad as their targets.
 
It just a trend, thank god I dont like trend setting.

I dont like people dressing like they have just gone to a rock concert 24/7.

No it shows that your should be urself, not what everyone else is trying to be. Mind this has happened for centuries and with continue to happen for just as long.
However this century in particular the far extremes are immensely irratating.

It is still following a trend or a fashion, expressing yourself and your individuality by conforming to a stereotype?

I remember the same arguments were levelled at punks and goths back in the early 80's. The "I am just being myself" argument was a pile of poo because they were conforming to a very obvious stereotype.
The real answer is "I like the way I look, I couldn't give a **** what you think of the way that I look and why do you dress the way that you dress?"

The reply was usually "because it is fashionable / trendy".

"Why do you want to be fashionable?"

At that point they'll be stumped.

My wife used to get muppets commenting on her nosering 20 years ago or her pink hair or for wearing black. You're only young once, be whoever you want to be, do whatever you want to do and enjoy it. For me the mohicans went because I simply cba to maintain them, far too much effort, short back and sides for me these days.

Having said all that emos do seem to generate a body language and image that says "pick on me, punch me and hurt me, I am pathetic" so I can understand why people dislike them. Still that is better than chavs by a long shot.

It's just the latest name for anxious teenagers who always have been and always will be.

I hate Emo's. Take those skin tight jeans off your chicken legs you daft bugger and stick a smile on your face. YOU ARE NOT COOL.

I know some indie/emo fans who go to see live bands and spend the whole night SITTING DOWN with the rest of the crowd. FFS...
 
What has always confused me though is how you can wear skin tight jeans in searingly hot sunlight sweating profusely and not rip your inner thigh to shreds and wax your legs? :confused:
