Audi A1 alternatives

I just had an A1 as a courtesy car for a week. The 1.6 TDi was surprisingly spritely and I found myself growing increasingly fond of the mini german by the end of the week. It was as refined as the bigger Audis I have driven (A4, Q5 etc) and very quiet. I did miss my 6th gear though and tbh it could have done with one because fuel consumption didn't seem to be as good as on my car.

For me the boot space was a problem as I carry a load for work (my usual drive is an A3 sportback 2.0 TDi). You can't get anything in an A1! I didn't like the screen which sits permanently upright in the centre of the dashboard, it just looks out of place.

It did seem like a very expensive Fiesta to me. I think the one I had came in at around £15k which seemed like a lot of money for not a lot of car in my opinion. Not something I would rush out and buy brand new.

I'm going to give you guys another update, again to highlight the futility of the situation. She is now complaining that her 1.6l A3 is less economical than her 1.3 Yaris. She has completely forgotten about the fact that her cost to change cars was £11.5k

Can't believe she didn't see that coming a mile off to be honest but alas she'll probably forget about it in 2 weeks :) The person who said the C30 boot is small is understating the issue, It's only fit for the borrowers. Getting anything into it is also as bad.
