Australian Grand Prix 2010, Melbourne - Race 2/19

I am predicting an absolute stonking race for LH tomorrow :)

hope so, if he went out on the hard tires he would have been able to do better on his 2nd and 3rd lap as the softs only last 1 flying lap. if it is going to be more of the same then maybe him being further back will liven it up a bit.

vettel and that RB car are unbelievably quick, hasnt vettel set a new lap record? im sure brundle said it was low 24s for schui a few years ago. they must be running that car on red bull to make it go so fast.

if vettel can stop his car breaking this title should be his easy.

None in my mind, painful as that is to say being a Ferrari fan.

:D Nice one danny, love it!

;)

The ferrari seems much closer on low tanks, Alonso is not far away on time. The trouble is how long it will take to start being on a level playing field in fuel weight.

Looking forward to the GP, I fancy Alonso to get the jump on Webber. I hope that happens because it will be nice to see the relative speeds of both teams current fastest drivers.

One driver who must be feeling the pressure right now is rosberg, MS is right on his heels now after only two quallies with a good few years out of the car and limited testing. I don't fancy his chances of out qualifying MS 3 times on the trot.

Any doubt now that Red Bull is by far the fastest car?

As I said the car is awesome in low fuel and then on full tanks has impressive grip. Then the advantage of running 10 kilos lighter at the start of gp will see them ok for 3/4s of the race.

Scary thing is, the updates we have coming up show massive amount of gains. We are working 7 days a week and have been since November so it is nice when it pays off :D

I know its not really related but I have to post the Daily Mail article of LHs off track incident - you can imagine the tone of the article but I LOL'd when I saw the little boxout section having to explain the terms "burnout" and "fishtail" to the readers - hilarious. I'm surprised they didn't refer to the car as "death machine" or "planet killer" or something equally alarmist :)

it seems the red bull has adjustable ride height while it moves, very clever.

ferrari adjust theres manually in the pits.

mclaren say they will have it in a few races time.

i hate vettels finger wagging as well :-)

Interesting, I thought it was banned but I guess I'm wrong. Must be a loophole, one I'm surprised they haven't closed. Obviously it has massive advantages when the weight of the car has a much bigger range to work through.

Can't see it staying legal long.

It would explain why the Red Bull has such superiority on any fuel load. I don't expect CS to confirm this one ;)

Hilarious thing is they got the definition of a fishtail completely wrong :D

One of my customers is Australian, and apparently this business of "hooning" is a massive thing over there that the police are clamping down on in an almost gestapo-like fashion. Hence young Mr Hamilton's issue yesterday!

Gahhh Hamilton qualifying back in 11th...cant really see him getting anywhere near the front...damn Vettel again on pole...maybe this time his car will be more reliable:p.

Fingers crossed though that Hamilton can make a challenge for the win but 11th place??..:/

Couldnt help but laugh at the report of his hoon driving lol...awesome

Well he finished 4th or 3rd (depending on how you look at it) last year from 18th on the grid. So I suppose anything is possible :) I think he will jump up a few places and if there is rain or a safety car I guess it could completely transform his race.

Seriously can't believe how badly he took the whole police thing. He needs to lighten up :p

That gets on my **** for some reason. I can't like the guy, you can see he's a schumi in the making with his arrogance and tantrums when it doesn't go his way.
