I think he thought Button would go for the inside line and by covering it he wouldn't have enough speed to take the outside/raceing line.

Doesn't the blue flag just mean 'faster car behind you let it past'? Massa should have been blue flagged right at the start of the race if you were to keep the rules the same

I think these teams have been conned into thinking they will need 2-3-4 stops, perhaps after the top layer wears away completely it is like a new tyre again.
