why was vettel so slow. Presumably even if the all the electric motors fail you can still fun the car on the 500bhp or whatever it is that the ICE puts out and just trundle around a couple seconds slower picking up points when others retire.

No pressure on the turbo by the radio messages. Which means everything *******. No where near 500bhp with no turbo and no turbo energy recovery which is unlimited recovery, unlike braking which is limited.

It doesn't work like that, the engine and the MCUs are all linked, that is the problem.
