Australian Grand Prix 2015, Melbourne - Race 1/19

Nasr crazy close, looks really promising driver wise. Verstappen looks great as well though I think the problem is that car is all over the place and not predictable enough, really very good time compared to Ricciardo.

Sainz/Nasr/Verstappen doing a fantastic job in their first qualifying. Just a shame Verstappen has a really unpredictable car.

EDIT:- times are just making Mclaren look worse and worse as well. I expect times would improve a little due to track being in use but the fact is in Q1 there were 3 cars to go out and almost everyone knew a safe comfortable lap would get them through. If they all went a bit harder I think Mclaren's times would have looked horrific in comparison.

EDIT;- too tired to think right now, confusing Kvyat and Verstappen.... I need some damn sleep. :(

I think I read they got rid of the race control stuff, but there will be loads of onboard camera streams instead... but probably just during the race.

Race Control is available on the red button and the ipad app. Removed it from the web site though. Never been on android.

Sky Sports. Pay more, get less.

Insane, Ferrari still sand banging and going to close the gap to Mercedes?

I didn't say they would be closer, I said their Q1 time wasn't representative and it wasn't.

Again Vettel did what a 1:29.3 on SOFTS, Hamilton did a 1:28.5 on Mediums, almost a second ahead on the slower tire. Now Vettel is only 1.3seconds behind on the same tire, when the tire itself would gain about a second. So ultimately if Hamilton had gone a second faster on softs in Q1 it would have been an over 2 second gap... it is now MUCH lower.

As I said, the Ferrari's soft tire times in Q1 weren't remotely representative. Vettel has gone 2 seconds faster on the same tire than Q1.

EDIT:- I also think that Ferrari used that first set in Q1 then first run in Q2, then pretty much wasted the second set in Q2 doing a half run and probably used them for this run. So it was probably Hamilton fresh set of softs vs Vettel/Kimi on slightly used softs.

Which is still more than double the gap compared to last year, you were wrong, pretty simple.

Seriously, learn to read, I didn't talk about the gap between the teams. I said Ferrari put in a easy lap in Q1, nothing more nothing less no matter how much you want that to be not true. I said simply, that Ferrari didn't put in representative laps in Q1, they didn't.

You replied quoting what I said, which was all about mercy doubling the gap. And you disagreed as Ferrari was a mediocre lap, so I can read fine thanks.
