Bring on Friday morning, F1 in UHD is beautiful. I had a test screening last year and it was awesome..

How are they doing this then? Have FOM upgraded their cameras at every track? My current Sky deal is about to expire and I'm quite interested in going to the SkyQ box for UHD content.

I remember when the only track that had HD capable cameras was Suzuka or Fuji

I am sure fom have had 4K cameras for a couple of years but have only transmitted in HD. Sure I read that somewhere.

The first race is always interesting, regardless of result.
We get to see the uncertainties of testing unfurl and cards are laid out for all to see.
I find it fascinating from first session to last

1.7s gap 1st to 2nd and 3.5s covering the top 10 in the qualifying vid from Melbourne 97. I'd forgotten how far apart the gaps used to be. You could pretty much fit the whole grid in 1.7s now.

No this season. The midfield is going to be nowhere near the front and if Honda make it to the start line and that far into the race they'll be lapped within a couple of dozen laps judging by testing.
