Thought I read Williams pulled out of Oz GP a few hours ago, in addition to McLaren.
If Seb and Kimi have flown out, this situation of no official statement of cancellation or postponement is absolutely surreal!

To be fair, it's 9am in Aus. If this is all just a rumour they're just getting up to it.

Damon Hill has said the race is on but no spectators. People queuing at the gates but not being allowed in. They're already there, might as well let them in now ffs.

Have been reading Seb and Kimi have taken flights home. This will be intersting to say the least.

This is blatantly over who foots the bill. F1 don't want to be the ones cancelling as the organisers will want their money. The organisers won't want to be the ones cancelling as they'll not get their money from F1 and will have to refund all the tickets.

No one has told the crowd.

Well, from what I can piece together from Twitter:
Raikkonen, Vettel, Verstappen gone home. Mclaren obviously not racing at all.
Race is to go ahead with no spectators.
Nobody wants to be the one to cancel the race because they'll be financially responsible.
4 teams haven't even turned up - Mercedes, Mclaren, Ferrari and Renault.
Schedule is due to change today because of the ongoing mess.
Be interesting to see who's right from that lot.
