It’s so depressing seeing cars not even try and defend. Kmag pretty much waves Vettel through. Is that the state that F1 is in now? They’ll just overtake with DRS so why bother defending?

yes i know, but i thought they had to maintain the same gap, but i guess that doesnt apply in the pit lane.

One question - if the pit stop time is 20 seconds and they all have to maintain the same gap, how is Max only 13 seconds behind him?

Do they not have to maintain the gap whilst in the pit lane?

It's 20seconds at full race speed. Under VSC it's much reduced as the cars on track are substantially slower.

Don't compound the error, choose when to pit to stay ahead of Vettel, the nearest championship contender... If that is still possible.
