Right, time and time again we see their articles about some totally 'shopped image of a sporty going road car and I am confused about why they do it.
They are getting a bad rep for doing it aswell as everytime someone posts a link to one of their articles, people say "Ohh, another AE special!"
So my question is, what cars that they have created for their website have actually looked like that when it's left the production line?
A few examples that i've found on their mainpage...
Hot Prius - http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/242938/hot_prius_beefs_up.html
Porsche 928 - http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/244090/reborn_porsche_928_is_fronting_up.html (Which actually looks quite nice)
Jaguar XJ220 - http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/233642/jaguars_reborn_xj220.html
