Right, time and time again we see their articles about some totally 'shopped image of a sporty going road car and I am confused about why they do it.

They are getting a bad rep for doing it aswell as everytime someone posts a link to one of their articles, people say "Ohh, another AE special!"

So my question is, what cars that they have created for their website have actually looked like that when it's left the production line?

A few examples that i've found on their mainpage...

Hot Prius - http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/242938/hot_prius_beefs_up.html

Porsche 928 - http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/244090/reborn_porsche_928_is_fronting_up.html (Which actually looks quite nice)

Jaguar XJ220 - http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/233642/jaguars_reborn_xj220.html

No idea but all 3 of your links point to cars that I personally like the look of, yes even the Prius :)

The Prius is what made me create this thread. Absolute boy racer look, far too boy racer to make it into production :)

I too actually quite like a lot of their designs but I see it as false advertising as the cars won't look a damn thing like that if they do make it into production.

Some people will probably see a design of theirs and think that looks brilliant! They'll go to the dealer and put a deposit down without actually seeing the vehicle. (Worst case scenario)

This is what happons when you give a 14 year old a graphics tablet, a baseball bat and then let them loose on Photoshop.
