Why do i get that please? I have followed the instruction given, as per deleting some stuff in the "Hosts" file/programm but it is still there.
ffs get ad-aware and run it, to cear spyware.

Guys if i can just mention that it is not my Homepage that is hijacked but one of the ones in my favourites list (autotrader).

Yes i did restart the computer and shut down other pages.

Also try searching through the registry for the parts of the URL you mentioned earlier. I had a similar problem and thought it was hosts related, but it was actually a dodgy registry key...

No hey is saying there may be a dodgy entry in your registry causing this.

Click Start, Run, type regedit, edit, find

search for some of the text in the link that is coming up, delete.

backup they key first though incase you break it

There's your answer. Just delete those two lines.
Why would deleting those two lines (pointing to MSN servers) fix his problem? :/

El - run a ping on autotrader from your command prompt and see what the dns resolves to. That will tell us if it's a browser issue or a networking issue..
