AV unit cooling help needed

not strictly for an AV unit but I did something similar for my (closed door) server cupboard:

2x 80mm inlet fans towards the front and 2x 80mm exhaust towards the back fans (to get air flowing into and out of the devices in the right places) powered from a HP Microserver.

Cheers Neil, that seems sensible. I do happen to have a Microserver as you can probably see in the image so I may run the fans off that. How do you control the fan speed as I don't want them spinning fast all the time?

how about placing the PS4 where the sky box is and cut out a hole in the side of the cabinet and put an exhaust fan there?

i dont, the fractals are very quiet even at full speed. i made sure i got quiet fans for that reason.

i was debating getting another aquaero for shutting the fans down until needed.

That seems smart, plus then the exhaust fan can more easily steal power from the microserver

I think that's what I'm going to do tbh, seems the easiest!

Neil what have you used on the outside of the fan holes to tidy them up? They look smart!
