Tried to watch it but it just did not have the same impact as the original. Cameron has credit from me as I have only once in all my life gone out of a film and paid to go straight back in to watch it again (T2) but this was too meh to be bothered.
How much do you like being bored?
It will kill a few hours if you need them killed, but it's not worth going out of your way for. Has some spectacle, and I wasn't bored, but it's very stupid and unoriginal. Better than half the recent Marvel movies, nowhere near the good ones.
Watched it this last week gone.
Saw the original 4 times in cinema and imax because of how amazing it was, this time it felt weirdly off, some of the animation, particularly with the animals looked off and glitchy, the storyline was pretty rubbish, and the sense of magnificance just wasnt there.
