Avengers: Doomsday 2026 ))

Am I the only one who was disappointed that RDJ is playing doom? Should have been someone completely different
Yup, but they are in big trouble so looking for anything to dig them out of the hole they are currently. Its a hail mary bringing one of the faces of the golden years of the MCU back, people just dont care for the current phase as they've dropped the ball to many times. I have zero interest in doom or the 'nu avengers'. After ******* up Blade, the only thing that's peaking my curiosity would be the Punisher mini movie they are doing (and that's only because they've got Bernthal as one of the writers on it).

thats what i said earlier. Its a bit of a cheap trick bringing back Tony Doom.

No Hulk or War machine

This is a film that is going to need to make $200 million just to cover the cast costs.

I reckon it will cost 500mill, less heroes than endgame and infinity wars, but now everyone knows they can command bigger salaries!

1-1.5 billion for sure, as both the previous films looks good (F4 and Thunderbolts). I suspect one more film will come out early next year before Doomsday anyway.

Like others I think getting RDJ to play a new character will feel a bit hollow, but fans will probably love it

I would have thought Doom would have sold the movie regardless the actor but yea they're really desperate.

Its not like i dont like Robert Downey Jr but you want a fresh big bad not same old guy with a twist. Thats what made Thanos so appealling. They failed miserably with Kang so going with half fat Doc Doom isnt exactly going to be that interesting imo. You want some threat that at a galactic scale which needs everyone's combined effort to overcome.

Will easily make that but would imagine it would have to break £1b to break even, getting a bit fed up of these now and it's like they've decided to completely destroy all the good work done by the Infinity Saga

As an unashamed Avengers fan I really don't think I can be bothered with this, as I cannot stand their "Multiverse" rubbish. :(

I'll await some reviews.

Desperate times, beyond desperate actually, this is just flinging crap at the wall and hoping.

Mind you, what's new?

Although at least they nailed the title without realising it.

I agree. Itll bebnice to have rdj back but i feel like marvel movies are just so generic now. I'll watch it and give it a chance but not holding out any hope.
