Average speed checks

Drove down from Manchester to London yesterday for the weekend

It was unreal to see how many drivers were speeding through the m1 spec cameras

Even lorry drivers wanted to overtake me when I was doing speed limit (shown by sat nav) so we're missing a trick somewhere!

Never really understood why people speed through average speed checks, if you're in that much of a hurry then you should just leave a bit earlier. If it's an emergency then I guess you have to take the hit and points/fine are irrelevant if it's a life/death situation.
