Average Wage for IT Support Job

I used to get 27k in a desktop support job a few years ago, was after 5 years of being there though.

And whilst it was on the desktop team we did rather a lot (and there were 15 of us)

I'd say this job is around 18-20k. The ad and exchange stuff is basic admin, vm stuff and backup throws a bit more value there over a standard desktop support type job.

In my first job, as a AIW IT guy at a school, I left there earning 12k, my current job I earn 26k.

Yep! That just about sums up pay for support staff in a school.
